Permanent Technical Writer (Irving, TX) Job # TX 805

ProEdit has an exciting new opportunity for a Technical Writer for a full-time, on-site, permanent position in Irving, TX. This position will be responsible for writing and producing a variety of documentation, including manufacturing processes and corporate SOPs. The technical writer will also be responsible for interviewing subject matter experts and gathering information pertinent to the documentation process.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technical writer with experience in a manufacturing or operations environment. Our client offers a relaxed work environment with growth opportunity and excellent benefits.

Qualifications for this position include:

• At least four years of technical writing experience.
• Proficiency with MS Word and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
• Previous experience documenting manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with FDA or medical product validation or quality control.
• Previous experience using electronic document management systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, English, or a related field.
