Contract Technical/Marketing Writer (Redmond, WA) Job # WA107

ProEdit has an immediate need for a talented technical/marketing writer to work project-to-project in Redmond, Washington (ZIP code: 98052). This position will be responsible for writing and editing Web content help systems, product brochures, case studies, and company newsletters.

The chosen candidate will have extensive knowledge of B2B writing and experience writing to an audience of diverse professionals.

The majority of the work can be done off-site, but a local candidate is preferred to attend meetings in our client’s offices in Redmond.

Qualifications for this position include:

• At least five to eight years of experience writing marketing collateral for technical products.
• Previous experience writing online help systems.
• Proficiency with MS Word.
• Significant experience writing copy for technical products.
• Experience working with content management.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
• Ability to present relevant samples.
• Immediate availability.
