Junior/Entry-Level Contract Editor (Cumming, GA) Job # TE 800

ProEdit has an exciting opportunity for an Editor for a full-time, 2-3 month, contract position in Cumming, GA (exit 15 off of GA 400). This position will be responsible for editing and formatting content for user manuals, online help systems, presentations, and marketing materials.

This is an excellent opportunity for a junior or entry level editor to gain experience with a technical writing and editing firm.

Qualifications for this position include:

• A minimum of two to three years of editorial experience in a corporate environment.
• Advanced skills in MS Word including using the styles and track changes features.
• Previous experience with Adobe Acrobat.
• Familiarity with an editorial style guide such as Chicago Manual of Style or AP.
• Bachelors degree in Technical Communication, English, Journalism, or a related field.
• Ability to work onsite at our location in Cumming.
